I have a Logitech Harmony Multi-Remote. This model is apparently so new that Logitech doesn't have it listed in it's Logitech Harmony database yet. For now, I just use the original remote that came with the TV
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I asked the original Q... and now waited too long for a sensible ROKU reply. Seems using Directv Universal Remote 5-digit code 12049 gives most control over TV functions... except no volume contrl on the Universal Remote. OBTW... ROKU online phone help, spending 2 hours+ with them yielded no help. The help-desk had me attempting to use all RCA, Insignia, Hisense, etc. codes with no luck. As an experienced technical troubleshooter, technician & engineer -- what the help desk contants were doing is what we used to call "Easter-Egging" -- aka, code guessing. However, the off-shore helpers were pleasant to talk to.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I asked the original Q. It looks like the DirecTV Universal Remote is incompatible with the 55" Plus Series 4k QLED TV major control functions (on-off/volume control, etc.)... perhaps incompatible with all ROKU TVs... A probable major ROKU design flaw I think. Other 2023 Smart TV resented test OK in Directv Remote compatibility tested TCL, Toshiba, and Insignia OK for Directv Universal Remote compatibility. I would appreciate a certified ROKU technical expert comment... respectfully, NO opinion from non-techie users needed or wanted. Thank you.
