“Do I need to buy a power cord with this tv? If so, what kind and product name? And why does it not come with a power cord?”

• Power cord is provided. I also put all my electronics on power strips - the smart TV's need to be 'rebooted' periodically - meaning disconnected from power and reconnected. Easier to do when the power strip is has an on/off switch and can just be flipped off for 30 seconds and back on after that.
