yes it will work fine. just watch your usage. might run up a hefty bill with provider

If you configure the Roku to connect to the SSID of your phone hotspot, that should work, but it might be too slow and you will be streaming TV using your phone's data service.

It will work if you have 4G LTE or better. You wouldn't want to use it on a regular basis though because of the data charges on your cell plan.

The hotspot tethering on your phone does work. I use my phone when I travel where there is no wifi available.
