Roku does not support kodi you need to get somthing with the android platform. The kindle fire tv. Works best

No. Probably a chromecast or Amazon Fire Stick work best for that. You can use Plex to stream on Roku which works well too.

There are hundreds of tutorials for installing third party applications on this or any android device on the internet. Apps such as ES File Explorer provide a good starting point.
