Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's not like a Roku so they don't talk about channels. Really the easiest way to review it is to go to Google Play Store. Basically it works with most of the apps there and if you're curious you can look at what's supported. I'd be surprised if there's something you want that's not there. Plus you can install ES File Explorer and use the embedded google browser to go anywhere you want like a computer. Probably worth having a Bluetooth mouse and keyboard though. I've bought and returned two rokus, the last one with a side by side comparison with the Shield. I think the Roku is a good box technically, but hands down the Shield is better in every way that matters to me. Better user interface, faster and I can download phone apps I purchased to it if they're compatible at no extra cost. The Roku can stream Amazon Prime videos (and music I believe) so if that's important you should know that. In my case, I have 2 Fire TVs, Chromecast, PS3, PS4, XB360, XBox one and a computer that can, so really not a big loss (i have an older Apple TV not hooked up as well, notice the only box not listed?). Looking at that list it's a little sad to have that much technology, but I've been wrestling with not having a cable DVR for years so it's been a gradual thing. If you have a computer at home, I recommend this box with Kodi (free). It's hard to beat. If you have an antenna available, Kodi with NextPVR and Shield is the best there is.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need subscriptions for most of them. I had Netflix, Amazon, HBO Go, and Showtime already. There are some free ones, but I haven't tried them yet.
