I thought I would be able to but was asked for credit card info for a price I can't remember.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It does not have channels like Discovery, or History, but it does have an ESPN app, as well as streaming services like Netflix and Amazon. You should be able to see a channel list (really, they are "apps", not channels) on Roku's website.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You have to have a subscription of some kind to stream those. There are apps for those channels you can add but it will ask for a login. SlingTV is a ~$20 a month service that has those that runs on a Roku. Highly recommended service.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes and no. If you have a cable or satellite TV and your providing company allows its channels to be played across the internet, then yes you can watch the Discovery channels, ESPN, and many other cable channels on your Roku using the log-in information from your providing company. My cable company includes internet access to most of the channels on their two upper tiers of channel packages. I had to register a log-in name and password with my cable company, but once done I could easily log into ESPN, Nat Geo, HGTV, and many other channels quiet easily on my Roku. If you don't have a cable or satellite subscription, then you most likely can't. If you have cable or satellite, contact your provider for more information.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can get the watchespn app and other channel apps but you have to have a Satellite or certain internet providers log in.
