If you want to watch tv in your living room, and the wife wants to watch in bedroom, you'll need 2 sticks, one for each location. You can watch tv on each device at the same time without an issue. There isn't a way to use 1 stick for 2 tv's. I have a Roku stick in the bedroom and 2 other Roku's on 2 other tvs and we can watch anything without a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Here is our situation. We have six (6) TV's. Each one has it's own ROKU stick (into the HDMI slot on the TV). We can have more than one TV turned on and the ROKU will show separate "channels" among them; or all could be looking at the same "channel", We subscript to SONY PlayStation Vue. Each Subscription only allows five (5) ROKU's to be linked to it. For the sixth TV/ROKU we have a separate subscription (for now) to PlayStation Vue. p.s. my experience with the ROKU device is that it appears that each ROKU Stick Remote gets "paired" to one ROKU stick. So you must keep the remote with the TV it's linked too. Also you may have to upgrade your Router to produce a stronger signal. Hope this helps. We switched from Cable TV to the above setup. We save $65.00 a month by not paying for the six cable boxes. Within the next few months we have paid for ROKU.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The Roku only works on the device that it is plugged into, we have a Roku tv and the Roku that you plug into the tv on the same account, but two seperate devices and can watch different programs at the same time.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You need a separate device for each TV, if you have a "smart" TV you don't need any device.. Your ability to watch different programs on each set depends, for free programming the answer is yes, for subscription programs like Netflix, it depends on what you are paying for. I pay for 2 DVDs at home at a time and therefore am able to view 2 different streaming programs on 2 different TVs at a time
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you need a roku for each television. It is easy to transport from one tv to another but can only be used on one television at a time.
