yes, the USB cable is a part of the system. it also has a power chord in case you dont USB output in your TV

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.For most newer TVs (within the last ~5years) that have a USB port, yes you can use the usb power cable connected to the tv. Some older TVs had USB ports but are not intended for consumers to use, just for the manufacturers to run diagnostics. Some older TVs won’t have usb, so you have to check. The roku does come with a usb power cable included in the box, along with an adapter to plug the usb into a regular wall outlet in case your tv does not have a USB port
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes to both. However my USB port on my TV powers off when the TV is off; not sure if all TV's are like that. So when the TV is off my roku powers off too (unlike my Roku 3 which remains powered on).
