Yes, this model can be vented out the back.

Yes. However there are two (2) options. 1st: Out of the top to the outside vent hole. ( The system is set up for this option). 2nd: You have to open up the back (see instructions) and you will have to turn the fan around. Hope your outside vent hole lines up. Good Luck
