Thank you for reaching out regarding your Samsung - 1.9 Cu. Ft. Over-the-Range Microwave with Sensor Cook if this model can exhaust on the bottom or front. Regarding your concern, this microwave has 3 ventilation options which are the following:

1. Outside Top Exhaust (Vertical Duct)

2. Recirculating (Non-Vented Ductless)

3. Outside Back Exhaust (Horizontal Duct)
