• Yes. It’s perfect for college student. I bought it for my son who’s a freshman at Texas Tech. Laptop fits in his backpack perfectly. Great laptop for all his assignments.

• No, it is going to be too slow and drive you nuts. I use this for a side business and only for tasks I complete through a web browser. Get a more robust laptop for school! Check with your school's OIT department for discounts!
