Galaxy Smartphones regulate their charging so you won't have to worry about that as most phones nowadays regulate their need to charge even if still plugged in or using wireless they only take what they need.

Yes it does. The charger pad has an indicator light that goes red while charging. When the device is 100% the indicator light goes green
