“I feel silly for asking, But I am curious and a techno idiot. I currently have a 1080i TV. When it dies, I will be getting a 4K. Will this particular sound bar work with both? Also, the subwoofer connects via Bluetooth only?”

I have mine connected to new 4K tv but our cable company doesn't provide 4K feed so it doesn't matter. You can connect bar by optical or HDMI. The woofer and sound bar both plug into electricity but automatically blue tooth with each other. The deep base woofer only kicks in when the tv puts out bass sound like music, thunder, earthquake, dinosaurs, etc.
