Hi Gail, voices will sound clearer with this sound bar than they do with your TV alone. A 3-channel sound bar makes them sound even clearer as they have a channel specifically for dialogue that doesn’t mix with ambient noise. Yes! The sound is much more clear and rich. The sub woofer is not overbearing but makes the overall sound much better than just the tv speakers.
