• No but it provides the instructions to switch it to recirculating mode which seams pretty straight forward.

• No. If you are having your vent from the front of the microwave, you have to lift the blower motor and turn the blower motor a quarter turn. You have to really read but the instruction show that.

• No, you have to follow the instructions to switch it form vented. It is about 6 screws.
