A:AnswerI would say the ice bin holds about 16-20 cups of ice (filled a 8 cup measuring cup once & pulled out about half the ice). I think it took a little over a day to fill the ice bin. Access to the Ice is easy, open the drawer/freezer & the top shelf with the ice pulls out at the same time. I did buy a small scoop for the ice for filling glasses.
