Great question, Joan! The refrigerator has an internal water reservoir that it dispenses from. The reservoir holds about a quart of water, or approximately 2 - 4 glasses. This means that water from the dispenser will be cold unless the reservoir is completely depleted. Also, during the summer months, water enters the fridge at a higher temperature. This means, the time it takes the water to cool down will be slightly longer. ^Jecca
