• No need to remove icemaker. Samsung make a similar version with water only. $100 more but you recover that tiny bit of space. Dispenser is recessed in left wall just above bottom veggie drawer. • Yes You can but You have to make sure the ice maker off is on that is set on the left hand top of the fridge..If your never planning on using it don't hook the water line but yes the tray pulls out also.We had a couple months so far and love it.
