No lines are supposed to be appearing! Please return the monitor and grab a newer one. I grabbed a couple of these monitors and they work like a magic! I had similar line issue with the spectre monitor which I previous owned.

Please try again later.The horizontal lines are from screen tearing which is caused from having a lower frame rate to hz so this monitor is 240hz if you do get less than 240 frames per second you can usually see these lines. I experience them usually when I game at around 120 fps and pixels is due to view distance they are more noticeable from a closer distance.
