What are the dimensions of the base of the stand? null

The base is a metal round flat disk that is approximately 8 1/2" inches round. This disk seats on the desk and the arm that is connected to the monitor is connected at the back portion of the disk. This leaves some over hang of the disk that protudes out in front of the monitor. I believe that it helps as a counter balance for the monitors stability.

Approximately 8.75 inch diameter disc.
