- Answer probably not, Samsung wants everything working as brand new. the men that delivered it installed the new filter line on mine. it is better so there will be less trash in the line from the water supply. I did keep my water filter

- Answer No. The ice maker in my Samsung french door refrigerator has failed 3 times. I put a new ice maker in last year, and it failed again a year later. I'm looking at a fourth ice maker needed for this unit. I will likely put this pile of garbage on Craigslist Free and never purchase a Samsung appliance of any kind again.

While we normally recommend allowing 24-48 hours after installation for ice production to begin, the auto-fill pitcher should fill as soon as it is installed. - Answer You can use plastic tubing. They sell refrigerator water install kits that have an assortment of fittings and enough 1/4 plastic hose that use need.
