If you like the fridge by it water dispenser you may not be using it just take the water pitcher and fill it with water if you want water in it

So long as you have the proper electrical and spacing requirements, any Samsung refrigerator will operate as normal with or without a water line. A water line connection is only needed in order to use an automatic ice maker, water dispenser, or auto-fill water pitcher. Since your home does not currently have a water connection for the refrigerator, you would just need to turn off any ice makers, and you would not be able to use any water dispensing features. ^Jecca
