“can you get the water from the fridge without using the auto filled pitcher? in other word if something is wrong with the pitcher, can you still be able to get water out?”

Not that I can tell however this feature is under warranty and if the pitcher stops working I'm sure Samsung will help you get a replacement. I always purchase the Geek Squad coverage It covers everything beyond mfg warranty. EVERYTHING :)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No there is no way to get water without the pitcher. There is no lever/button or anything to dispense water. Plus it only fills the pitcher with the door closed.
