• Thanks for asking! Models like this one have an auto-fill pitcher. It is a pitcher you would need to remove from the refrigerator to fill a cup or glass. Once you place the pitcher back in it's place inside the refrigerator, it will automatically refill. ^Jecca

• You have to remove rhe pitcher and pour the water. When you put the pitcher back and close both doors, it will refil.
