probably not, Samsung wants everything working as brand new. the men that delivered it installed the new filter line on mine. it is better so there will be less trash in the line from the water supply. I did keep my water filter

If your water line kit looks to be in good condition, and meets the requirements listed for this model, you would be able to use your current kit.
