“Given Atmos... it seem to me you would want to mount the soundbar above the TV unit... not below. This would maximize the Atmost technology and sound. Thoughts?”

Not so sure of that I have mines mounted below still sounds awesome

The optimal position for the soundbar is centered, directly below the TV either mounted or on the furniture the TV is placed on. This allows the front firing speakers on the soundbar to be positioned optimally providing the best sound experience. Since the height speakers are angled upwards, the sound will still be able to travel overhead giving you the additional height from Dolby Atmos audio. I hope this helps. ^Tim
