• Hi swtNsasi! Yes, when connected to a Samsung TV via HDMI or digital optical audio, the HW-Q700A soundbar will turn itself on and off with the TV remote in addition to adjusting the volume. This eliminates the need to use multiple remotes. To fine tune the audio of the soundbar, or adjust the sound mode and woofer level, you will need to use the included soundbar's remote. ^Tim

• Yes it comes on when I turn my TV on with any remote. The qeek squad connected it so is works with all my remotes
