What is the best way to hook up the sound bar null

I am not an expert on these things, but because the music and other sounds we hear today from TV's, iPods, over wi-fi, etc., is mostly digitized an optical connection would likely be the best connection. Optical audio connections should have the lowest sound/quality loss. Your TV, if relatively new, should have an optical output and this sound bar has and optical input.
