“Just found out my backlight on tv went out. Product is only 2 1/2 years old! The black model UN32EH5300. Sad part is I received as Xmas gift. Really bummed. Anyone else have this problem?”

I've had this happen with several of the older (3 years old) 32" Samsung TVs. Sometimes they can be repaired, but most repair shops can't do it feasibly. I found a shop in San Diego that can fix the LED strips for about $120.00, but I don't think most shops would recommend fixing it. It shouldn't happen, but it does. I've had it happen to approximately 12 of the 40 32" TVs that I sold that year. I'm expecting all of them to go out within the next year or so. It kinda sucks, doesn't it!
