• the monitor does have its own speaker port so it should work.

• It has a speaker output jack to which we connected our old (2004) Altec lansing speaker system. Also we made a Bluetooth connection to a 2016 Bose portable speaker.

• YES and YES and YES currently using nvidia shield 4k HDR is a killer quality. and the monitor has headphone jack output so i'm using it to hook my sound bar direct to monitor with 3.5mm audio cable (AUX).
