The monitor stand is 18 .5 inches wide and 9.75 Deep from the rear of the base to the front of the outside points.

Please try again later.Mind you this is not a perfect measurement, it's close though: I measure 46.5cm with the only tape measure I have within easy reach (happens to be metric) at the widest points, so 18.3", and the spec sheet lists the depth at 9.9" with the stand (2.2" without). However, it's worth noting that the U32J590 does have VESA standard 100x100 mounting holes on the back, so that should give you some other cart mounting options.
