“I have two questions. How long is the cable for the rear speakers? In other words, how far apart can they be placed? Also, can the rear speaker volumes be adjusted separately? My wife is hard of hearing and needs spears near her to be louder.”

Hi Josh! The rear speaker wire included with the HW-A470 is approximately 13ft in length. You can adjust the volume of the rear speakers separate from the soundbar by using the Sound Control button on the soundbar's remote. ^Tim
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Suggest buying longer wires. The ones in the box aren’t long enough. I believe they were 5 feet or so. Wireless setup lets you move the equipment to where u need it. Yes the sound can be adjusted . I would suggest the surround sound option.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The speaker wires are quite long, 20 ft? But don't expect this system to fill a room bigger than 15 x 15. The rear speakers of any system will be quieter than the front speakers. So really, her only alternative is to sit closer to the rear speakers than to the front soundbar.
