• The rear speakers are connected with wire to a transmitter box which needs to be plugged into an outlet for power. The transmitter box is only connected to the rear speakers and power outlet. These things are separate from the sound bar and separate from the subwoofer.

• They are wireless to the sound bar, but they need to be connected with wires to a transmitter box thing that wirelessly connects them to the sound bar.

• Hi heinz! The HW-A470 rear speaker wireless module requires a power cord to function and speaker cables to connect to the rear speakers. Once they are connected to the speaker cables, the rear speakers will pair wirelessly with the soundbar. ^Patty

• If your rear speakers aren't working, try switching from STANDARD to SURROUND with the "sound mode" button on the remote control.

• The rear speakers are not independently wireless. They are wired to their remote wireless tower
