Hi there! The washer can be paused at any point during the cycle. However, the door can only be safely opened if the water line is below the door opening. To help with this, the door can only be opened with the "Garment +" icon is lit up. This icon looks like a shirt with a + sign. If this icon is not lit up, you would need to drain the washer before the door can be opened. ^Jecca
