• i got several from the fine folks at xfginity, but i still have to use 2 remotes

• I used the "Try all Codes" option when setting this up on my Direct TV. I think it was the third code the receiver box tried. Very simple, just click "Try next code" if the volume doesn't change during the set up process.

• review the programming booklet that came with the remote and search for your brand of tv and all codes and steps should be listed there.
