There's not an official answer, but I've tested it with different speed limits, and Netflix HD does pretty good at those speeds. If you're thinking of using the smart tv functions for watching Netflix mostly, you're better off with Vizio or televisions that come with ruku stick. Samsung is a great brand but lacks smart app software for some apps
