I did have to buy a bigger TV stand. The TV is 43" so you have to get a stand to support that size. The supports that come with the TV are at the end of each side and not in the middle so you need a TV stand that is long enough. I believe mine is 50" long so I have more than enough room. I just went to the website where I was going to purchase a new stand and typed in the size of the TV. It will bring up all the stands that are compatible.
