Please try again later.I can't say for sure, but I'll say this: I'm running a 6700k with a GTX 1080 on a 4k monitor (8,294,400 pixels) and I get pretty good frame rates in certain games (110fps War thunder mid-high settings) and have to turn things down a bit in other games (TW Warhammer III - mid settings). This monitor at 5120x1440 (7,372,800 pixels) is slightly less demanding than 4k, but will still be a stretch for an older system. I think your current setup would strain under this monitor but would handle 3880x1440 much better. That said, if you're planning on a new PC anytime soon-ish, I think you could limp along with your current rig until you upgrade.
