Hi TOM, Yes, this washing machine model can handle king size blankets. For beddings and or bedding covers, we recommend maximum spin levels of 2 or 3, and the load capacity to be 7 lbs. at max. Leo

Yes it can, I would imagine if the blanket is down filled it would be tight but we have a normal quilted comforter and there was plenty of room for that.
