“Does anyone know how to troubleshoot an SC draining issue? All info online says to check the filter but I can't seem to find a filter anywhere. And the hose doesn't disconnect so I can't check that.”

Make sure your draining hose does not bottom out down inside the drain hose. If the washer is new you dont need to check filter.
