Hi there, A drain pan is recommended depending on the state requirement or the location where the washer will be installed. The wooden floors are best protected with a drip pan to avoid any accidental drips to your floor. The unit measures 29.4 inches wide and 36 inches deep any drip pan than can fit those measurements will do.
