• The stovetop has electric ignition. That said, if you can operate a match or lighter, you should still be able to light the burners. Don't try using the oven, though. It is totally controlled by the electronics.

• Yes! It is a gas range. It only needs power to lit it. So when the power goes out, you can still lit it manually.
