There is nothing in the instructions if I should remove the fine bit of shiny plastic- wrap type plastic along the frame in the front. It looks like you could peel it in some places. Not sure if it’s part of the screen protector. null

The film on the bezel can be removed if annoying. Just be careful not to scratch the plastic underneath.
DO NOT pull any film on the screen without a big BLUE triangle in the corner that says pull or PEEL here.
From your pictures it looks like the film to protect the plastic bezel from scratches during shipping.
Seeing this is 2 months old I hope you already peeled it off and are enjoying your tv.

Hi London, if there is a protective film on your screen, it will be indicated with a large blue triangle in the upper left corner. The triangle will have an illustration showing how to remove the protective film. If you do not have a blue triangle in the upper left corner, then that means there is no protective film on the screen, so please do not try to peel off anything. You will damage what is actually the screen. ^Val
