• It does have speakers but we have a soundbar that we use.

• I'm not sure about the number of speakers but they are not powerful, for some programs I need to adjust volume up to level 50, with previous Samsung TV's this was loud but for this one is just necessary if you don't want miss what is happening in a show, movie, etc. In other words if I want to have a good experience watching an action movie I'll need to buy a sound bar.
