I have an LG OLD and Samsung QLED. QLED is brighter (factual) and therefore looks brighter. OLED has the advantage of being able to turn of a pixel for the truest blacks, but I prefer the brightness of the QLED. OLED is more slim and uses less energy, but I don't notice any difference in reality. I would say the QLED is the best TV out on the market for most people. I prefer the flat QLED. I have the curved OLED.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.By far, yes. This TV is very bright. My living room is well lit and I have the back lighting set to 12 (it goes to 20). With all lights off it's a little too bright at 12. Between 7-10 is pretty good with blacked out rooms.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a Samsung QLED in my great room with double sliding 8 ft glass doors doors and 6 ft sq bay windows as well as 4 big windows above the door. The Room faces South and is extremely bright. I have never experienced any issue with the brightness on the Samsung in this room Hope this helps
