The only external sound connection is a digital video connection. It has no other sound outlets.

If you are going straight from cable or antenna to your TV, look for the "audio out" on the back of your TV - little red and white jacks. Take them to the audio in of the same color on your sound bar. The yellow is for video - let it dangle. If you are going into a DVR, etc, THEN to your TV - you can use the audio outs there (red and white)
