    Excellent 4k tv

    I brought this tv and i haven't been disappointed with it. The resolution is spot on and beautiful. Is a smart tv with wifi and ethernet port what i find dissatisfied is the wifi as it only connect to a 2.4ghz and not to 5ghz and it sometimes does buffering if it watch on 4k videos on wifi connection. It can be remedy with ethernet connection. It includes numerous app but most important app are included such as Netflix,hulu,Amazon prime video, and youtube. It has the Xfinity app so say goodbye to rental fee from those box they gave you you can just use the app to watch live tv from Xfinity platforms.

    I purchased this television at a memorial day sale and have been pretty happy with it so far. The picture, brightness, and contrast are pretty decent and the sound has improved a lot over previous Samsung models. I have not watched any UHD content, but the regular HD movies and television shows all are acceptable. The internet television works great and the menus are easy to navigate. If you were going to use this as a television for the family room, I would definetely consider the Q models over the 7 series for the best viewing experience. But for a bedroom or family room, this television will work nicely.

    I previously had a Plasma TV (Pioneer)

    I thought it would be hard to match the performance of the Plasma set which was a pioneer which had a very good picture. This Samsung set surpasses the Plasma performance in terms of color and definition. I am very satisfied with this purchase especially at 1/2 the price of the Plasma. In the same overall measurement of the Samsung compared to the Plasma, the Samsung has a significant larger screen area. This model is hard to beat compared to any model of it's category.

    I was in the market for an upgrade from my 6 year old LG 42" 1080p tv. I was initially going to go with a Vizio 55" 4k but once I saw this Samsung I fell in love. The colors were bright, vibrant, and easy to distinguish (I'm color blind). I got this TV on sale and won't look back. It easily fills the wall in my studio and makes movie watching and games infinitely more enjoyable.

    I actually have a smaller apartment about 750 sq ft so I decided to put it on the bar between my kitchen and living room and the height and how far I was able to push back my couch, made this already big TV seem theater like. And the picture quality is pretty dang good for the price and size.

    I loved this TV for 2 weeks.i t was great. Then I tried to install a wall mount and cracked the panel. Repair costs almost what I paid for the TV. Warning, these skinny TVs are as brittle as crackers. My own fault, but what a shame. Saving for another one.

    This TV is unbelievable. Great for all events. From sports to Netflix movies. I have tried all the viewing options, and can't get enough. The sound could be better. No complaints so far about it.

    I purchased this TV for a great price and even though is not the latest model it offers all the features you would like it is very thin the trim around the screen is very small which makes the screen appear larger

    I’m so happy to have purchased the 55 inch Samsung, it has a great picture, color, seems so real. I also enjoy having my apps already applied rather than hooking up the Xbox. This was Smart decision.

    This tv is one of the best besides the 600 series that I've also purchased a year ago the resolution on this tv and the sound is awesome and for the price you can not beat it.

    Do NOT Buy This Problematic TV

    We bought this TV for a den, and it is the worst Samsung TV we’ve ever bought. At first, sound and picture are great! Then randomly the TV will switch the source or something like that on its own - it BLASTS our eardrums with static, the TV picture is snow, and you can’t do anything about it, the remote is useless when this happens. We can’t turn off the tv, check the source, change the channel, lower the volume or anything. Then it’ll go to the Samsung SmartTV logo/startup screen and the channel/show you were watching comes back on. It’s like the TV is possessed or it has a mind of its own. We’ve removed every connection but the HDMI DirecTV box and the Samsung sound bar/woofer (connected by optic cable). Anynet is off, We’ve tried everything! We are open to suggestions to remedy this. Otherwise, we’ve got a very expensive lemon.

    Have always loved Samsung, never ever had any issues.....I have always had Samsung phones, TV's, DVD players, Bluray players. I have a Plasma that is almost 10yrs old and still using it with a great picture. This TV's picture was excellent to begin with. Now 4 days after the 30day return policy (BestBuy Elite Member) the top 1/4 of my screen has gone out (See picture). I would not even think this would happen from a Top brand company who has been around the block for years would make bad quality like this. I choose Samsung over a TV that was $200 cheaper due to the reputation and quality product......for now on I will think twice and extra hard before buying a Samsung product. Not happy one bit that I need to go through a lengthy process now through Samsung isntead of BB, specially after all the money I spend at BB over the years!

    My lg 46” stopped working and I wanted to go bigger and with a different brand. This 55” Samsung is perfect and has many features including 4K.

    Only prob, I don’t know where the on/off button on tv, sound, color adjustments AND got a message “my resolution was low”, I DONT KNOW HOW TO FIX! “no direction brochure”!!!
