“why doesn't this tv have a optical cable outlet so I can hook it up to my receiver without using bluetooth? I was going to buy it until I discovered it did not. Samsung needs to redesign the TV:(”

Hi DH, You are correct, the U7900 TV does not feature an Optical audio port. It does offer HDMI or Bluetooth for external devices. This input is available on our Q8F Series and higher. ~Samsung Advisor
