“Does this TV have a removable protective film? It has a red tab in the lower left corner that seems to indicate the film should be removed, but there is no barcode in the center of the film as shown in your instructional videos.”

Hi Sue, If there is a protective film, it will be clearly marked by a tab with instructions to remove it. It sounds like you have such a tab.
