“The Samsung website says this range is 36 inches in depth but on here it says just under 29 inches. Please confirm the depth.”

The manufacturers sometime list the height as the depth. The range fits in a 30” opening and standard 25 1/2” countertop depth. The height is 36”. I don’t have the range installed yet, but as a kitchen and bath contractor, I can tell you with 100% accuracy that the depth is not 36” deep
